Lakeside non-electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked: The location, the staff friendliness, the picturesque site, the tranquility, the lakes and woodland walks and specifically the beautiful geese!
Disliked: Nothing really. It is a little difficult going back to basics without electricity down by the lake/woodlands but also its a nice way to switch off

Liked: The owners are amazing!! super friendly and helpful. The pitch was beautiful, hidden amongst the trees in the forest and really private. Fire pit provided and it was really clean (for a forest floor). Facilities such as toilets, washing up and showers were clean and in good condition. It’s such a lovely location and it all looks so well maintained. A bit muddy in parts on the track so I advise boots, and a torch for at night.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: We stayed early June, very well kept and clean site, we were made too feel very welcome, had lots of fun fishing lots and lots of silver fish, and seen some good size carp too, we enjoyed a walk in the woods with our dog, and enjoyed the peaceful feeling of the site,
Disliked: The only bad thing was it dropped cold at night, but that's no one's fault so no dislikes

Liked: Really friendly helpful guys who run the site. Relaxed atmosphere. Camping pitches in the woodland feel nice and private, quiet and peaceful. Loved the fire pit. Clean toilets! Didn’t use the showers as we were only there for two nights. Would definitely go back to this site.

Meadow non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Lovely safe and friendly site for young children. We camped in the meadow by the playground. Lovely views and lots of space. Lots of places to explore in the forest, by the lake and paddling in the stream. We will definitely be frequent visitors now.
Disliked: The site is back to basics and a short drive from a pub, but that’s not a bad thing!

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (wild, woodland, small)
Liked: Really quiet pitch, very spacious and clean. Toilets and washing up facilities really close. The hosts are really nice, helpful and friendly. Lovely walk in the woods and ponds to explore.
Disliked: Some of the trails were really muddy but I suppose that's just bad luck (it rained a lot the previous days).
