A peaceful campsite with lots of nature.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked What a Gem of a Camp site. I stayed two nights, Sunday to Tuesday, in my tent. It's a very peaceful site. Jess the owner was very helpful. i explored the Severn valley country park by bike. I've been camping for many years but not camped for the last 6. This site has got me back in love with camping again. I'll definitely be back.

From the manager: Unfortunately, we were unable able to get hold of you and had messaged you too to see if you were coming as the weather was bad that day. Unfortunately you didn't respond so we assumed you weren't on site and hadnt come. The toilets and showers ect are cleaned regular when people are on site, and if we had known you were there it would have been spotless I apologise as we are very proud of our cleanliness.
Perfection
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked We got to explore and see the forest walk and fairy garden this time, no matter how much time i spent in those areas time just ceased to be.
We absolutely love Wellness Woodlands it's going to be my second home lol. Nothing is ever too much if you need assistance or anything in general.
Again such a beautiful area to be in and so so peacefull. Thankyou for having us, hopefully we will see you again soon.

It was a pleasure to have you on site and your review means alot to us 😊
Really lovely site with access straight into the Severn Valley Country Park…
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Really lovely site with access straight into the Severn Valley Country Park and to the Severn Valley Railway.
Site was quiet with loads of space to pitch-up.
Shared areas such as the kitchen, BBQ and covered tables with seating were great.
Several pubs, the river, the SVR Engine Shed and the main SVR station all in walking distance.
Disliked Toilet facilities were clean, but small. Not an issue for us on a quiet weekend, but could be an issue if very busy.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch

Beautiful site, very relaxing and peaceful!
Pumpkin bell tent (medium)
Liked Beautiful site, quite basic but everything was spic and span, and Jess was very friendly and helpful. We were the only ones there on the Sunday night and the peace and serenity of the site were wonderful. Having said that, even with other campers there, it's so spacious an area (used to be an 18 hole golf course), that we weren't bothered by anyone. Shower was lovely and hot and the outdoor kitchen well supplied with everything needed to cook. Inflatable bed in Bell tent comfortable and tent itself marvellously roomy (we had the Pumpkin one). Nice walks including one down to the railway station and the pub and river.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Me and my friend came here for the weekend such a lovely and peaceful area, very clean and well kept grounds, sadly we had to leave early we would come here again and reccomened to anyone to come here and experience wellness woodlands.
Throughout the day you can hear the train and birds chirping away, and on the night you can hear the animals, there is no light pollution either so the night sky is absolutely amazing.
There is a communal area with toilets, showers and even a station to be able to wash and clean any utensils and items such as pots and pans etc
Staff were super friendly and helpfull can't wait to bring my partner here thankyou so much sorry we didn't get to say a proper goodbye. Thankyou so much for having us.

Excellent facilities, views, location and local amenities
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Excellent facilities, views, location and local amenities (can highly recommend the local curry house for a last-minute solution to forgetting to bring some dinner on the first night)
The site is a former golf course so is easily traversed and very accessible.
We stayed during the Severn Valley Railway’s steam gala - it was a 90 second walk from our pitch to Highley Station. Easy access to the station, the Ship Inn pub and then trains to Bridgnorth etc.
Disliked Nothing.

Highly recommend
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Friendly welcome on arrival, huge amount of space available for camping and fantastic for some peace and quiet, with the only noise coming from the local wildlife. I'll be recommending the site to anyone I know who fancies a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
