Liked: Big flat site, lots of space and lovely views

Liked: Great location, not far from London, lots of space, great view. Loved that you could have a fire.
Disliked: I would prefer compost toilets, from my experience they are less smelly and more eco friendly

From the manager: We're so glad you enjoyed your stay on site! Unfortunately compost toilets are not suitable for campsites as large as ours, we have anywhere from 50-400 people on site each weekend, this is simply too many people for composting toilets to be able to cope with. They are only suitable for much smaller sites with much lower numbers. from experience with neighbouring campsites composting toilets can also smell (much worse) when subjected to the footfall we have on site. Whilst we appreciate compost toilets may seem nicer they are more suited to glampsites with much smaller volumes of people on site. Compost toilets also take a huge amount of work in terms of actively handling and recycling human waste, especially when factoring for the numbers of people on site. They simply aren't a possibility for our site I'm afraid.
This is our favourite campsite! Rules are very simple, the entire place…
