Liked: Price to have electric for rent pitches
Disliked: There lots allowed traveller on site as I had things nicked costing me money not them

From the manager: I find this hard to believe. A normal customer would have informed staff and ask to see the cctv. Considering the group are in a separate field with separate access they’re so called involvement would have been easy to prove. And as such I’ve checked and seen nothing. This group have been on short stays about 6 times in 4 years and we’ve never had a report of a theft, just persecution hence giving them their own field.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: Great location for visiting Cropredy and its pubs! Plenty of space, and clean and tidy pitches. Yes you can hear the railway, but wasn't that intrusive. . Good Elsan point. Pizza was great and well recommended. Ideal site for children with its goats and aviary, bouncy castle and play area. The staff were lovely and helpful. Would stay again for a couple of days.

Liked: Open fields, Goats & birds. Level pitches
Disliked: Dirty, smelly toilets and showers Over flowing rubbish bins Shop constantly closing

From the manager: I’m sorry you had a different experience to our other guests on site at the time. Just to clarify for those reading the review, our toilets and showers are regularly cleaned (as stated by other reviews). Bins were full on the Sunday and collected the following day. And the shop was open Friday 9am till 9pm, and Saturday 8am till 8pm, with a few 5 minute breaks for the staff (4 max). Shop was closed Sunday due to staff illness (my shift!). I feel this review is a little unwarranted and extremely inappropriate to my staff who worked extremely hard over the weekend. We suggest you continue camping at The Ritz (but I’m sure they would still be lacking in your expectations).

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: Excellent campsite. Had plenty of space, good toilets/showers. Had playground for kids, plus a bouncy castle! Little shop, hot food and on Saturday has pizza oven going. Friendly staff, great atmosphere! Lovely little village too within walking distance.
Disliked: Freight train noise. It runs very late, but you become immune to it. Few campers had music on till late, no one going around checking.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: -Children’s facilities - great play areas and animals to entertain them -Less than ten minute walk to centre of local village with brilliant pubs and amenities (highly recommend Brasenose Arms for excellent food and service) -Pitches near the play area were mostly young families so wasn’t noisy late at night -Toilet and shower facilities were clean and well maintained -Really friendly staff made you feel like part of the community as a first timer :) -Fire pit hire was a nice touch -Great big level places to pitch up and could pitch up as a group with another family we holidayed with -Close to lots of great places for days out including Blenheim Palace and Stowe Gardens National Trust, easy access to the M40
Disliked: -Men’s showers could do with hooks for hanging items on back of doors as they weren’t quite as high quality as the women’s facilities - Site is quite open to the elements so the wind could feel quite strong at times. These are both very minor things and wouldn’t impact on our decision to book again.
