From the manager: Hello Susan,
It was nice to host you and thank you for your review.
Just to let you know, if you don’t have a removable tank to take it to elsan point which we have,
we have drains next to water points dotted around the site where you can drop off grey water.
See you again in the future,

Great hosts and a site that will be amazing in the future
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch (lake view)
Liked Good sizes pitches, the owners were amazing, good communication throughout and nothing was to much trouble, very reasonable rates reflected in the sites current layout, Justina nd her partner made our stay as good as they could and that goes a long way. If you fish there are 2 small lakes
Disliked The facilities are very basic for a site, it was quite nosiy from the nearby roads, there was no WIFI (we were okay we had our own luckily as I have to work), no grey water tank for our motorhome, shower blocks were wooden huts with outside sensor lights inside which would cut out if you didnt keep on the move, these facilities are desperately needing improving, would recommend as a cheapo stop over but npt long stay yet.
That said the owners were very clear they had aquired the site and had big plans for it, which you can see they were working hard on daily while we were there. Justina and your partner, - please don't be offended with this review, this site will be amazing I am sure once modernised and proper shower blocks etc are installed and you have worked your magic on the site, I also know speaking to you guys that you are installing Starlink across the site so keep it up!

From the manager: Hello there,
Thanks for taking time to share your review. Thank you also for all the compliments about our customer service which is a nice thing you noticed, we do our best to provide great customer service.
If I may, I would like to share that about 95% of our customers compliment our shower blocks as being “super”, “amazing”, “spotless”, “great” that’s just a tiny fraction of the reviews we constantly get. Therefore to say that they are basic we feel is rather misleading, “basic” to us means a hole in the ground and a hose pipe to wash yourself but our shower blocks are very different to that.
It has plenty of hot water, they are clean, not crowded and do the job. We have seen some sites and their shower blocks which we could call basic.
We believe camping experience isn’t meant to be a 5 star hotel experience otherwise what is camping.
All in all, thank you sharing your thoughts but it’s a shame that none of this was mentionned when we spoke to you.
I wish you all the best in finding a campsite to better suits your needs.
