Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well kept. And we would absolutely stay again. 15 min walk to the local village where there are pubs, restaurants and shops. And was perfectly located for our plans in the area . The private toilet/ shower block that you can book is a nice touch for a little privacy .

Disliked: Hard ground on the pitches were gravel. And bent the pegs of the Awning . Just be sure to travel with hard ground pegs and you will be fine

Liked: Nice setting, good pitch sizes, toilets and showers were clean and never busy, kids enjoyed the play area. We did get stuck when we came to leave, but a member of staff came really quickly to tow us out.

Disliked: The rain and lying water, obviously not the parks fault, can't be helped.

Liked: Pitches was a good size,been here 3 times now and my family love it, man made beach was good with sand pit, you can hire a lot of things, overall a great site,and staff are friendly

Disliked: Toilets and showers could do with a refurb but was clean

Younger children might like the immersive touch-and-feel activities in the Gruffalo Discovery Land. The kids may not be in school, but there are real-life history lessons at the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre (10 minutes). Here you can take a guided walk around the fields where the 1485 battle took place, learn about the War of the Roses and discover how King Richard III lost his life in the fray. There are also children’s hunts and talks. Leave the past behind and zoom ahead to the future (or at least into space) at Leicester’s National Space Centre (35 minutes). You can experience what it’s like inside the International Space Station, see a sample of moon rock and learn about the universe in the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.

General

Bookings must not be for more than 10 consecutive nights.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
