A little gem of a campsite.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We camp a lot, so we weren’t expecting too much, but what a fantastic surprise this little site turned out to be! Spotlessly clean, tidy, and with shower and toilet facilities. The pitches are spacious with gorgeous views, giving you plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
A short walk takes you to a dog-friendly pub and the local shop, and while the motorway hum is there at first, you soon forget all about it. Light sleeper? Bring earplugs, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Watching planes take off and land was such a fun extra.
The honesty box for extras like fire pits was a brilliant touch and made the stay feel even more special, something a few other wild campsites could definitely learn from.
All in all, a little gem of a campsite. We’ll be back for sure!
Disliked Having to go home.

Liked How lovely this little site was, tucked away in a big field, clean little sawdust toilet and and separate shower.
There's was also an honesty box, but only saw it on the way out. Ample amounts of room for each pitch.
The people who were camping there were friendly too, dogs on leads and smiles all around.
Disliked That I didn't have another night booked xD

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked A lovely simple set up, turn up, pitch, sit and relax. Views are stunning. The new compost toilet is managed throughout the day, the shower, does the job to freshen you up.
The farm shop had a great choice of meats and local produce. Perfect our bbq. We hired the kettle grill and kindling which was available at only £5 for the stay!
A small village, pretty to walk through, two great pubs 5 mins either side of the campsite. We had an amazing Sunday lunch.
Lots to do in and around the area. We visited Bradgate park to see Lady Jane Grey's house.
We were two families with teenage kids. Just wanted a couple of days away from everything. We would definitely return.

Liked Stumbled across this campsite and we will most definitely be going back. Great location. Lovely farm shop. Rented a fire pit and had a camp fire. Has a honesty box for buying eggs and some home baked sweet treats. Lovely field for dogs to run around. Great facilities. Walked to a local canal and had Sunday lunch. Very secure field.

Great price, great location and more than dog friendly!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We (myself and my 10 year old daughter) had searched for a while for a dog friendly campsite that wasn’t overly expensive, when we stumbled Manor Farm, which is literally on our doorstep! (Leicester to Loughborough 34 minutes)
This was our first time proper camping and it was also the dogs holiday.
We absolutely loved it! We took loads of games with us as we wanted a device free weekend but didn’t even use any of them.
The other campers were lovely, the space around the campsite was perfect to allow the dog to walk without a lead and it is in the centre of a little village. Local pub was a 4 minute walk and the food was lovely.
Across the road, to the actual farm, the animals are there for you to see and feed and the manor shop was lovely, with a butchers too! We had a lovely cut of steak and the locally brewed beer and cider was beaut.
The shower and compost toilet were nice and clean and my daughter fell in love with Lilly, the horse that lives in the field at the end of the road 😍
We will definitely be back and have recommended Manor Farm to our camping friends!
