Local attractions

If you like your unspoilt countryside served with a healthy dollop of action, Herefordshire offers a huge choice of activities and sports. Golf, fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, cycling, horse riding, pony trekking, walking, rock climbing – you’ll find them all here. Between medieval Goodrich to norman revival at Eastnor you’ll find over 1,000 years of castle architecture. Hereford Cathedral with the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library is another must-see attraction. The nearby church of Hoarwithy is a british rarity in the sense that it is built in an Italian Romanesque style. The Plough Inn serves great country pub with award-winning real ales and hearty grub.
