  • Seven-acre camping field behind an award-winning Cotswolds country pub
  • Five minutes' drive from Westonbirt Arboretum and Highgrove House
  • Adults-only site with veg polytunnels, orchards and garden pitches
Off to the Cotswolds? How about pitching up at a classic country pub with top-notch pub grub offering a large undercover outdoor seating area complete with an outside bar? And it being only a mile from gigs and shows at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum? You'll find this all at Tetbury Camping at The Holford Arms, an adults-only site set in a spacious seven-acre green field behind the award-winning Holford Arms pub near Tetbury in the Gloucestershire part of the Cotswolds. Meals at this restored 16th-century pub have won plaudits and prizes for their quality and variety, and always feature local produce plus own-grown fruit and vegetables from the on-site polytunnels. For a real treat, you can also add into the gourmet mix a wide selection of local gins, wine, real ale and craft beer including the pub's own pilsner and IPA. Dogs are welcome to join in all the fun in the pub and on the campsite, and please note that although this is an adult-only campsite, kids are welcome in the pub and other accommodation areas so you may see some of them around the place. Simple facilities for campsite guests include hot showers and washing-up sinks.

Electric optional grass motorhome pitch

Liked: People lovely. Pub Food Fantastic. The site is tranquil with fruit trees and berry bushes in full bloom.

Disliked: Shower block....warm showers but the block needs a real refurb.....think the returning owners are working through a to-do list.

Electric optional grass motorhome pitch

Liked: Nice site away from traffic and next to a pub for food. Not far from Westonbirt and Tetbury which are lovely.

Disliked: Has to borrow a hook-up extension as a standard one wasn’t long enough and electric point some distance away.

Paddock non-electric grass tent pitch (six person)

Liked: Nice cut grass, very little light pollution, staff in the bar friendly and helpfull

Disliked: Showers where poorly maintained and no hot water, few other guests said they reported it as the gas was either turned off or ran out and haven't been sorted for days. How close some people get to you, with there epitch site, had a campervan that rocked up and pretty much nearly parked on top of our tent while we where out for dinner. Given 3 stars overall due to no hot water and the site us expensive for a tent pitch,

Orchard non-electric grass tent pitch (four person)

Liked: Good location. Nice quiet site and great to have the pub nearby. Very grateful for help with my ice packs and helpful accommodating staff.

Disliked: Quality of the facilities was decent and clean but not as good as they would ideally be. Hot water was rather patchy and not all the outdoor washing up sinks worked.

Orchard non-electric grass tent pitch (four person)

Liked: We really liked the campsite itself, camping in the orchard was lovely, and the ground was flat and easy to pitch our tent. The staff in the pub were helpful at check in and the food we ate there at breakfast and Sunday dinner was amazing.

Disliked: The shower could have been warmer, but when camping you do kind of expect this… was hard to find a dislike as we had a great time.
