Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: It was a clean and well managed site with brilliant facilities. Toilet and shower block were always clean and tidy as was the dish washing area and laundry room. There was a minimum noise time (10pm-8am) which was respected. Pitch size was huge! And very well spaced out. We found a direct walk way into Coleford from the campsite which was really useful. Staff were friendly and helpful when arriving and when I needed a first aid kit. Food was served from a small cafe, although we didn’t try the food it smelt and looked lovely. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend the site.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Toilet and shower blocks were lovely, clean and spacious. Very well lit too. Pitch sizes were ample and the site well laid out.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the persistent rain over night and into the morning meant the grass field pitches were becoming quite waterlogged.

Liked: Just come back from a 4 night stay. Brilliant campsite, lovely owners and fantastic facilities/shop. Will be back again at some point. Why can't all campsites be like this? Even had a dairy free option on their homemade milkshakes 😍
Disliked: Maybe a shower curtain, but I know some people hate them...

Liked: The site was spotless and well maintained. The shop was open for takeaway on Friday nights and the pizza was delicious. The showers and toilets were very clean and the showers were nice and hot. The site was also in a great location. We visited Clearwell caves and Puzzlewood which were a short distance away.

Camping pod
Liked: We stayed in the pod for 2 nights and it was perfect. The Pod had plug sockets, a light, small TV, small fridge and a heater which made it really cosy. The location is great, you can walk into the town. We drove about 15 mins to a cycle hire and cycled around the forest which was gorgeous. The staff and really friendly, we were later than expected and they made it nice and easy to check in. Toilet block is clean. Really nice friendly site- we will definitely be back!
