I had a lovely weekend at Castleton Camping. Thank you!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful location and perfect for a hike up Mor Tor
Disliked The lack of shower just means you’re limited to how many days to stay.
Also the ground is very uneven and there are a lot of pot holes, most looked after and filled in but my party did go over on their ankles a few times.

Great for 1-2 nights in a tent if you have no facilities
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Location is perfect, toilets were mostly kept clean (apart from mud on the floor but this cannot be helped), you can pick your own pitch too.
Disliked Didn't realise that there is now a drinking water tap - it is still advertised that there is no drinking water. I think the addition of one or two small showers could also be great!

Lovely site great quite location.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely views quite location great walks and lovely clean site with very friendly owner. First time visiting will be back! Few issues with the drinking water tap but soon resolved.
Disliked A few more toilets on busy weekends might have helped keep the toilets cleaner but that’s just being fussy!
