Liked: The kids park - our kids was loving the freedom, animals were so cool!, Multiple toilet amd shower facilities - always were clean. The little shop was great and friendlies from staff/owners was superb.
Disliked: Not the owners fault but the noise coming from the festival, it was extremely loud both nights we stayed there. It went on until 4am both nights and music was banging from lunch time onwards each day! Maybe owner could warn campers on their FB page or website that there might be a disruptions and not peaceful night. Again not the sites or owners fault- drunken people ruined the stay for few people. Security didn't turn up for quite some time, which was disappointing.

Liked: Lovely site in the middle of nowhere. Clean toilets and showers. Just a short walk from a brewery that opens its doors on a weekend selling beers and ciders.
Disliked: Right, I've read some of the reviews and seen some of the managers replies to the ones he/she doesn't like. No doubt I'll get a reply to this. This site is an accident waiting to happen. The 6 meters apart rule goes right out of the window. Tents were pitched right next to each other. So close the fabric was literally touching. Ok, so these people were probably all friends. Should that mean they can risk people's lives? We were in a campervan, pulled up and left plenty of room between us and the next tent. We went out on the Saturday to find someone had wedged a huge tent in between us. For a site that allows and hires out fire pits this is so dangerous. If one tent had caught fire pretty much the whole site would have gone up. They were all that close together. Something needs to be done before someone gets seriously hurt or worse.

Liked: A large site with fantastic facilities. Great playground area which my daughter loved. Onsite shop which sold everything you could imagine from food to camping supplies and toys. Friendly owners. Loved the pigs, chickens and horses. Our pitch in top field was nice and flat. Onsite security made sure everything was nice and quiet after 10.30pm so had a nice sleep without the need for earplugs. Great views, 20 minute drive to Dovedale and a walk across the fields to the BeerFest in Aldwark. Clean toilet and washing up facilities. Ice cream van and pie van visited. We had a lovely stay. I had read reviews about noise from the quarry but we didn't hear any noise, except from the birds at dawn and people having fun 😀
