What customers say
A tranquil, well-placed spot for a "back to basics" vibe. Guests love the peace, views, and nearby attractions. Portaloos are spotless. No hot water is noted but expected for a pop-up. Friendly manager, but signage from Kelstedge needs work. Good value, chilled atmosphere, and many keen to return.

Great place to camp, spacious, clean and fresh
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Loved the ease of getting there and pitching up, the views are great and there's lots of space, the toilets surprisingly were clean and spacious even though it was absolutely chucking it down generally speaking the place was great
Disliked Some absolutely disrespectful youths revving their cars and shouting well past quiet hours and kept my group awake until around 2am, I really do mean shouting as well, we weren't even that close to them and they were that loud they may as well have been next to us
There is absolutely no point in having a "quiet time" which needs to be respected if it's not enforced, genuinely a great place to camp and I want to come again in the near future but I want to at least get some sleep

Excellent

Liked Had a great family trip to Ashover family farm, we made a weekend of it by staying over on the campsite and tied it in with a visit to the sunflower field. Our family and pets all enjoyed the entire experience. The private and peaceful campsite is fantastic to give little ones freedom to explore the outdoor space. There were fresh water facilities on site and also 2 toilets which were kept clean and tidy at all times. We honestly couldn’t fault it.
The sunflower field was an an activity we could all enjoy, there was a large sandpit with plenty of items for kids to play with along with giant connect 4, swing ball & tunnels for the kids to play surrounded by amenities for parents such as a good amount of seating, toilets, an icecream & coffee van and a large amount of additional seating within a large gazebo area.
Once you entered the pick your own sunflower field there was also a quiz you could take part in and the questions were posted in various locations around the field for you to find and answer on a sheet provided. Along with this there was also the corn maze which we found highly entertaining.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Each member we spoke to was happy to help and really kind and approachable.
The prices were not extortionate, everything was reasonably priced and we were never felt like we had been overcharged. It was great value for money and so much fun.
We will be retuning again next year 1000000%
