Motorhome madness! This year's camping, caravan and motorhome shows

Any excuse to buy a new tent, say we – and what better excuse than Glasto ? Yes, a goodly chunk of the Pitchup.com team shall be mud wallowing in Somerset fields come next weekend, making it an absolute necessity to acquire new canvas under the excuse that ‘this one might not be waterproof enough’. (Far be it from us to invoke the rain gods, but we all know the best part of Glastonbury is sliding around in fathomsful of slidey mud.)

It naturally follows that attendance at camping shows/expos must be had beforehand, in order to check out the very latest varieties of tenty goodness and tell our other halves we ‘haven’t quite found the right one yet’. And, even though the new tents have been acquired, it’s our plan to go then merrily forth to as many caravan and motorhome shows as we can this summer and autumn, because of course a campervan is the next step. And even better, some of these shows can be combined with a trip abroad. Huzzah!
