We are very pleased to hear that you have liked the facilities on offer here. We hope you got some nights in the bar too as a cracking long weekend has been had by all. Regarding the wifi, it is beamed onto the park via an outside company which is why a charge is made by them for using the service. We are not currently in a position to make any changes to this arrangement and hope are glad this is the only dislike you have of our park. We hope to see you again in the near future.
Overall a pleasant stay, pity the bar and restaurant wasn’t open

Sorry about the shower, we were unaware it wasn't working correctly and it's now been looked at. Problem sorted so next time it'll all be okay.

Disliked: Would have preferred to be nearer the beach
Whilst we are the closest touring park to Torquay we are on the boundary so it is still a couple of miles to the beautiful beaches. It is a shame if you thought we were nearer as this may have spoilt your stay.

Variety of food trucks visiting the siteDisliked: Gordon bar opened at 7.30pm not sure if this is because it’s out of season
The bar opens at 7:30pm whether high or low season. We have found the majority of people do not come out earlier so have settled on a 7:30pm opening which we have found works well. We know there are sometimes a few that prefer early doors but it has never proved a viable option opening earlier for those rare occasions. It is of course great to know that overall you have enjoyed your stay and that you would be back.

Liked: This was our 4th visit here, it's my favourite site, it's so friendly the staff are so lovely and can't do enough for you , the whole site is so beautifully kept the shower blocks are always clean plenty of hot water no matter what time you take a shower, poppies is fabulous food is great and reasonably priced and gordens bar is great, can't wait to go back ( again )
Disliked: Internet is awful should really look into getting a better Internet service 🙄
It's like greeting friends every time someone returns. We are lucky to have so many people returning time after time. Can't wait until the next time.

As a first time camper travelling on my own I was immediately put at ease on my arrival by the helpful and friendly receptionist. I had a lovely pitch from where I could enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities on the site were excellent.

We are not sure what is meant by limited opening as Poppies was open nightly during your stay. However, in high season the restaurant would be open for longer hours each evening. Perhaps they closed a little early for your needs on this visit? We have made Poppies aware of your comments and we hope that this will not deter you from visiting us again when you are next in the area.
