Great location (quick access to many fantastic spots/locations), very friendly helpful staff, lots of space-we have been staying with three kids on non-electric which is quite far from toilets block, so we def recommend to have your own toilet - that was very useful :) Many shops not far from the campsite, but also there is a little shop at the reception. You can choose your pitch and there is no restriction re arrival. There are many family campers so a little bigger playground will be great, however we have not spent much time at the campsite as there are so many attractions around, that we have been too busy to stay around tent.

We will DEF come back in the future! It was shame to leave and come back home.

Nothing to dislike, its just other campers - not necessary behave well, but that is not staff fault, and we are aware the staff was doing their best to support when needed. There is no close toilet block (which we can see as a good thing really) to non-electric, so some campers have been moving their cars overnight to get to the toilet.

Having used a number of more expensive camp sites with limiting stricter rules, Treacle Valley was a very much appreciated breath of fresh air.

Really liked this site, the facilities were decent. The price per night was very reasonable. Was really nice to arrive and be able to pitch where we fancied.

Accommodating, welcoming, relaxed campsite. First came in 2017 and have loved this place for that and the amazing views.
We prefer pitching at the highest point on site, sit of an evening watching the sunset over the far hills and stars appearing 😍

The facilities were clean, the site as a whole was lovely! Most of the people we encountered were friendly. It was easy enough to find everything we needed to find on site. My younger children loved the little park.

There wasn't much to dislike at all. We had a few moments with other campers however that's nothing to do we the site it's self. Even though my children loved the park it could do with being a little bigger.

Very friendly really easy to pitch up little shop there for extras owner will go over and beyond to help you out even gave me a little bit a free mayonnaise for my children's dinner absolutely love the bell tends you can rent ended up staying for a long weekend
