Wood for firepit isn’t completely dry

How chilled it was, easy access.
Nice cafe, friendly staff.

The toilets although clean as can be they were stuffy and damp.

Great cafe and 2 great pubs within 10 minutes .Loads of footpaths and walks great location for dogs .

Screaming kids at 6.30 in the morning playing outside .A couple of camper vans went off site at 4 in the morning and came back 5 ish .Why isn’t this stopped .Campervan right next to a stone road causing dust to go everywhere including in van the worst culprit being the employees driving a small pick up truck at great speed with large tyres causing loads of dust .

Additional toilet block was not open so long walk to the old facilities which made it difficult with youngest child

Everything was great! We stayed in one of the clamping tents- everything we needed and more, really enjoyed the camp itself with the lovely shop, cafe, pub across the road, and the pizza ovens where we ordered for later that night. Really tasty.

We had read reviews about the shower block requiring attention. The showers and loos were clean and tidy and there was a sign up abiut the new showers coming soon, looking forward to seeing that.

The location is excellent, straight out into the hills

I feel the charge for taking a dog is excessive, so I would not visit with our dog.

Small and compact. Close to train station and a starting point of many walks. Beautiful scenery. Local shop and cafe on site. Pizza nights three times a week, absolutely amazing taste! Ice-cream was also delicious. Hot shower anytime :) One man tent discount is very good 👍

Toilet/shower block a bit dated, still acceptable (I believe they are building new facilities)
