Fantastic scenery, easy check in, cafe and pub nearby, playground down the road, great walks. Fire pit was fun

Showers could do with a face lift, but it seemed this was in hand. We were in the far field (Grouse) and a water tap in that field would be handy. Not the cheapest but on the whole great stay.

The staff were friendly, the location was beautiful, great walking route's around. Lovely for star gazing and the train station is very close by.

Handy having a shop but it closed quite early, could of had more bins located nearer to the campsites. Toilets outdated but understand a new block is being installed.

A lovely site in a beautiful location. Friendly staff (and campers). Alive, but quiet when it needed to be. Good cafe and excellent pizzas.

That toilet and shower upgrade can't come a day too soon!

Beautiful location, there was plenty of space in the camping fields so it didn’t feel overcrowded. I liked that there were no cars on the field, felt safer for my young children.
The cafe was fab and the pizzas were really tasty.
The staff were all really friendly.

The toilet/shower block is in need of some TLC (they are currently building a new one).

Amazing site, very friendly staff, great food in the cafe, went 2 years ago and loved it and now the cafe is much better with fabulous menu. The map for sale in the cafe is excellent for those who want to walk but not sure where to start. The scenery is stunning and the site has a great atmosphere.

There are no hair dryers or plug sockets in the toilet block - this would make the site double amazing !

Great location and good pitch size. Very helpful host. The onsite cafe and shop are great and have plenty to choose from. We loved the breakfast and pizza night. There plenty of scenic walks and we recommend you do at least one. The views are spectacular.

Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Cafe was a bonus with great hot chocolate. Amazing location. I was happy to sit in the dawn looking up at Mam Tor and planning further walks. Although there were apology notices for the old toilet/shower block, they were unnecessary as they were clean with lots of basins and hot showers. Camper van pitches were level and the grass was easy on pegs. We didn’t stay our final night due to weather forecast.
Pizza nights were a great option. The store has enough if you forget stuff. Two pubs, church, visitor centre and station within easy walking distance.

Friendly and welcoming. Great shop on site and the cafe/restaurant serves great food!

The family bell tent was incredibly cosy. The pizza was tasty, and the shop was an added bonus.

The showers and toilets are run down but I know there is a new shower block coming soon!
