This is a very nice little site, on a farm with some woodland to walk in.
The toilets and showers are very good, hot water and very clean.
It's hard to describe how I feel about the place because for £15 per night it was very good, but the description led me to believe that it was much more than it is.
The woodland walks and tea room are very run down and overgrown, and need some attention, but if they hadn't been mentioned in the description I wouldn't have got my hopes up.
All in all, I'd say it's a nice, basic site, a bit run down but value for money. And the owners were friendly and helpful.

The site was perfect for a break where you felt close to nature. It was clean and quiet. We managed to book a couple of days where we had the whole site to ourselves. The owners are incredibly helpful and I have to say we were very impressed. Perfect for my grandaughters first experience of camping (no Wi-Fi!) which is just what we needed! The site is surrounded by a beautiful woodland walk where you can collect wood for the campfire.

We would definitely recommend this site if you are looking to escape from the madness of daily living and get back to nature.

Not really anything to dislike if you are looking for a relaxing camping site. If I was going to mention anything, it would be that we didn’t get to visit the little carriage cafe on site as its only open on weekends but the owner very kindly said we still could buy some of the items on the menu. Next we plan will be on a weekend 😃

Plenty of open space to experience nature. Basic campsite but you can’t quibble for the price. Spotlessly clean toilet facilities.

Very large group staying whilst we were there. Site got a bit noisy and the one toilet (as one was out of order) and one shower each for the men and women was a bit stretched.

Very, very basic. In need of a lot of TLC. It doesn’t seem like the place has had any investment in the last 30 years.

Basic site but for the price was great .the guy who runs it was very friendly and welcoming . it was a lovey quit site and would definitely return if we were passing through

Beautiful location, camping area really well kept and so peaceful and quiet. Had a lovely afternoon cake and tea at the on site railway carriage which was fabulous. Owner of the site is really nice and very responsive to messages. Would definitely stay on the site again.

It was peaceful and well a thought out open space. The woodland walk is lovely. The warm welcome on arrival was nice too.

This is a little gem of a site, so well laid out with decent sized pitches separated by wild grasses - very natural looking and you feel like you have lot's of space. Not at all overcrowded. Nice chap comes around to check on you - very friendly. We didn't go this time, but pub within walking distance.
