Liked: This site is amazing for couples, nothing to do for children. If you are an angled 4 lakes to choose from quiet and relaxing
Disliked: Only one shower block but very clean, and only one bin area. No dog bins
Thank you for your great comments. Any big except the fishing bins can be used for dogs and there are dog bins through the woods, the reason for there only being one bin area is that in the warmer weather the bins would attract flies, wasps and rats so we have the one area to keep unwanted visitors away from the caravans, camper vans and tents. Staff were friendly & helpful, site is very well maintained.
Very good fishing from beginners onwards, something for everyone.
Shower facilities were very clean, the showers are coin operated either 50p or 20p, we used the 50p showers & that gave us ample time in the shower.
We had glorious weather and met some lovely people whilst there.
Looking forward to visiting again soon.Disliked: Having to pack up to leave.

Disliked: 20p’s for washing dishes. I don’t mind the expensive, rather forgot to bring any coins

Liked: We had an excellent two night stay at Lyons Gate Holiday Park in a campervan on an electric hookup. The information provided before check-in was helpful and the staff member we spoke with was informative, helpful, and friendly. The facilities were clean and well signed. We were not there for fishing, but we spoke with several fishers who spoke positively about the fishing there.
We enjoyed the site as a lovely location in and of itself but also as a launching place to hike to Cerne Abbas.

Liked: Nice site, fishing is brilliant, there's fishing for the beginner to the experienced angler. Only had a short stay but will be back to try my luck again. The people that own the site are really friendly and helpful.
