We stayed in elegance static home, well nestled within nature, it was a beautiful and stunning surrounding. The home and terrace was ideal for toddler, as it was safe, terrace could be shut with gate so they could wander about and nothing low to worry about. Kitchen was well equipped with all working appliances. Spacious shower, good bedrooms double and twin with storage. Despite low signal, we were still able to use our mobiles to send messages, make calls and do some researching (expected in the outback) and the TV worked well on our stay with the channels from freeview. Absolutely excellent stay. Thank you so much to Mandy and Phil who were so welcoming and accommodating.

The site is so peaceful, beautiful and surrounded by nature and wildlife. Clean and well presented and staff always there to help and assist. Easy access to the local beaches at Weymouth but great for just chilling and relaxing. Beautiful location and excellent site. Certainly we will be back.

Just got back from a 5 night stay at this site and wasn't disappointed. We had an amazing time and fished everyday. The owners Mandy and Phil were amazing and very approachable really made us feel welcome. I paid for a lakeside view pitch and it was perfect with fishing pegs right near your caravan which is ideal. The showers and toilets on site were clean and not far from our pitch. There was an onsite shop for fishing equipment and bait. 4 lakes onsite to fish and well stocked. We found the seasonal pitch caravan owners were lovely most loved a chat and would give you info about the area places to go and visit ect. Also caravanners who were just visiting like us were lovely and friendly. The site has a no noise before 8am and after 11pm policy which is brilliant and we found this very good as we like to be in bed for 10.30. My 14 year old son absolutly loved this holiday and has asked us to take him next year for a week we will definatly be booking for next year it was fantastic!!! Fishing is charged at £6 for a day ticket and is not included in the price of your holiday but we thought this was reasonable as we only paid 180 for 5 nights stay in August.

We didn't dislike anything at all, if anything is that the site is set in a rural location and not much within walking distance but this never bothered us as we took all of our food and drinks and we were only interested in the fishing.

Friendly couple running the site. Showers only 20p and 50p depending on which you use. Electric for tents free. No rubbish and always clean esp the showers and toilets. Even when shop/reception closed if you need anything theres a number to call, the couple live on site. Pitches are a good size, not too many either so not over crowded. Fishing lakes suitable for all abilities.

Wasnt anything not to like really, considering the costs. Suppose the main dislike was the lack of wifi and the ridiculous bad reviews on here. So in response to them… 1. If you dont tell them they cant fix the problem 2. Theres hot water in the toilet sinks, you just need to hold the tap down for the boiler to kick in 3. Although it may be difficult if yu cant reverse a caravan into a spot you shouldnt be towing a caravan in the first place. 4. No one is allowed to live on the site other than the couple running it maybe. Doesnt mean you cant rent a pitch and visit at your leisure though and its those people that keep the place going for families like mine to visit. So leave them be.

Lake side view was paid for, had to reverse on to the plot, only view was opposite caravan. Woke up to a tent within a foot of window, this is unsafe. Opposite caravan who obviously lived there along with 90% of the campsite decided sanding and grinding his decking was a great idea at 5 on Saturday afternoon! AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT PEACE, ONLY FISHERMAN ARE WELCOME.
