Calm child friendly atmosphere. Host family were very friendly, had plenty of suggestions about what to visit in the area, especially child friendly things.
would definitely visit again when we're next in that part of the country.

Very peaceful place to stay. Toilets and showers are fine and you're not scrambling or coins for a shower since they are free.
I was using it as a base for cycling and there are loads of great non traffic options.
If you are caught in rain and have only a small tent the provision of the large marquee to use is great.
The best recommendation is that I'll happily come back.

Owner said one of the showers weren’t running hot but I couldn’t complain as it was really refreshing using that shower on a hot day.

Weren’t allowed to park car next to tent, we kept things in the car as couldn’t fit it all in tent.

Well kept site with clean facilities. Nice friendly owners. Their system of allocated plots works very well. There was a group of us with children and we all enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing stay here. Our tent was just by the pond, it was so peaceful. Our toddler enjoyed watching the fishes, running through the williw tunnels and finding the little fairy houses.
