There was fresh (wet) dog poo on our pitch which we didn't manage to properly remove so had to try avoid all weekend.

Also the traffic at night reminded us we weren't quite in nature.

Nice site in quiet location. Lovely dog walk and walk around the fishing lakes.
We were on the rally field with new shower block which was handy.
Nice touches available in main admin/toilet block like coffee machine, freezer with ice lollies.

The bins could do with emptying more often as they were full for the first 3 days of our stay.

Nice quiet site lovely walk around the fishing ponds and nice woodland dog walk.

Serviced pitch was in the middle of the grass pitches and felt like you were in the car park

this site has been freshened up since i last visited and most of the renovations appear to be complete. the location is nice, plenty of greenery, with pleasant walks around the fishing lakes. toilet facilities are kept clean.

internet is a high-priced add-on

Lovely site, with good facilities. Very friendly.

The tent pitches can be very stony, which makes hammering pegs in tricky, with a few bent. Not a big deal, but can be frustrating. Not a game changer, and would still recommend the site.

The pod was spot on for what we needed, easily fit 5 people in (2 adults, 3 older children). The site was lovely; clean toilets and showers, ice pack freezer, 2 gorgeous lakes and a woodland walk. The children made friends on site and were off playing, it felt very safe. The owners were lovely and helpful with tips on where to park to get the train to Oxford for a day

We had a lovely welcome, the pitches spaced well and level. Toilet block and showers to both fields very clean and lovely hot shower.The grounds were phenomenal and well kept. Perfect , peaceful and our 2 young dogs loved the long walks. Gem of a campsite
