There is a heater in the pod which made it cosy.
Management allowed an early key pick up by my sister as long as we didn’t arrive early as this would have affected cleaning of the pod which was brilliant as we would not have reached the campsite before reception closed at 6pm.

The hand dryers in the bathrooms do not work in the evening or early morning

Lovely quiet campsite close to lots of things to do. We only stayed as a stop off to somewhere, but we really enjoyed it. Very laid back, clean showers and great pitches. Very beautiful site too.

No where to hang clothes when having a shower.

Location was ideal for our stay. Toilet facilities were OK. We were permitted to stay late on departure day with no extra cost. The area round the lake was very nice.

There were 2 fields. The one we were placed on was not very nice - large gravel area. it was also close to a country road that is used by many as a short cut to get to the M40.

The Showers

Our Pod unfortunately smelt of cigarette smoke the lamp was broken and the blind was faulty. The lack of having someone in reception made these complaints awkward to convey over the phone so we just put up with it.

Clean toilets and shower. Great washing sink. Close to London.

The pod I stay could do with new carpets. Also the outside porch little too short for rainy days.

Good choice of generous sized pitches (Grass, Grass+Hardstanding, Hard Standing) in addition there are also non-electric, electric and Fully serviced options. Overall this is an attractive mature site surounded by Trees and bushes. Site access is through an electric rising barrier using a keycard which works very well giving an audio voice response when activated, The keycard is needed to get in and out thus improving site security. The onsite team were very friendly and helpful particularly as particularly as our Pitchup booking had not been recieved before we arrived.

The Fully serviced grass pitch facility was primative and run down ie low level tap buried in the grass with a scruffy ECU nearby. The hardstanding pitches came with a fully integrated drain,water and ecu but could do with a cleanup but were certainly better than the fully service grass pitch. We opted to change over to a Grass/Electric pitch and was fully refunded the cost difference by the very helpful and understanding on-site team.

A good site in nice rural area and a great base to visit Oxford which we loved and would have liked to have stayed in the area longer.

Clean, good facilities and very well looked after.

We felt very squeezed in, the pitch sizes were smaller than we would normally like. Thankfully everyone around us did quiet down by 11pm and we got to sleep to the sound of those who snored around us.

Loved the quietness of the site, toilets and showers were great and clean.
