Liked: This is the second time I have stayed at Gill Head Farm it’s amazing as ever the views are so beautiful just like the site I can’t recommend this place enough will definitely be back

Liked: Nice and relaxed, friendly campsite with large pitches for our motorhome. Dog walk area was lovely and scenic. Within walking distance of a good pub and cycling distance to Ullswater. Good views of Blencathra.
Disliked: Without a car it was a bit too far to get to good walks and local walking involved minor roads and badly signed footpaths. The lovely surrounding landscape wasn’t quite visible from our pitch due to high hedges.

Liked: Loved the cabin. Such a secluded spot. Surrounded by gorgeous trees and birds. Teenagers stayed in a pod. Would recommend taking a fridge for the cabin. Could do with a double bed in the pod for couples as the mattress at the back is not comfortable. Great place so close to everything. Will definitely be back.
Disliked: No fridge in cabin. Bed situation in pods.
