Such a lovely campsite with stunning views on the hills in the lake District, clean and friendly campsite. Well rated

Traveled as a single person with young child, site nice and quiet in the evening,

WiFi was only available in the communal area

Beautiful location. Cabin was nicely decorated and had all basic items required. Would have been great if we were able to hire a gas burner to cook breakfasts. Site is very tidy and well maintained. Toilet and shower facilities were modern and very clean. Keswick and ullswater very close so an ideal base. Lovely short break!

We stayed in the pods which were simple but comfortable. Lovely campsite with stunning views. A walk to the waterfall was great fun.

Location and site was excellent and so we're the facilities. Was made to feel very welcome by the owners. Some great locations near by. We visited Aira force waterfall and plan to explore more of the area next time.

The weather was horrendous but that is no one's fault. Nothing else to dislike.

Pitches are flat and spaced out. The communal block is really useful, especially in inclement weather! Amanda was super helpful when we arrived late to find people had parked cars on our pitch - soon sorted, thank you!

Beautiful site with spotlessly clean amenities.
The views are amazing and the site is very quiet and peaceful in the evening. Very family friendly.
The pods are great value for money and were spotlessly clean when we got there, with lighting and underfloor heating (if needed).
There are showers with hot water and clean toilets also laundry facilities.
There is a social room, with TV, kettles and microwave available and a washing up area for everyone to use. There is a lovely park for the children too.
All in all, a very well laid out place for everyone weather you are camping, in a camper van or using one of the fantastic pods.

There is a space on the booking form for any special requests, unfortunately, this being my first ever holiday, I was not sure how to book. We just wanted somewhere to sleep really so I could go on the lake cruise and this was within my price range.
I have a mild form of spina bifida and am diabetic and I did not explain on the form that I needed to be near the toilets. We were put in the last pod which was my own fault, but had hardly any sleep because the trek to the loo in the cold about 4 times through the night took it out of me.
Hence we only stayed for 1 night after paying for 2 so very disappointed I never got to see all I came for.
This was all my own fault but being my first holiday, I wasn't that sure of what I was doing or what it entailed.
I would love to stay again but not sure I could manage a pod unless it was close to the toilets.
