Isolated location. Quiet which was nice. Pitch size was decent enough to have car next to van which was good.

Working farm so I'm guessing the flies were because of this? Not blaming the site but the flies were an issue non the less. Toilets were not particularly clean. Again, I'm sure the guests haven't done them any favours with their hygiene standard but again they were particularly dirty so much so my wife only used the van toilet.

Very warm and helpful welcome by the man on reciption( might be owner) facility’s clean and in very good working order. My pitch at the rear of the site was fantastic looking at the mountains. Easy to find location

Could of done with more parking to the rear field for camping when it is full and electric points

We love it at Gill Head Farm, second time to stay and will be back again. Great place, facilities perfect and close to lots of adventures in the Lake District.

Absolutely loved the cabin in the forest. So we'll set up and a lively spot next to the river. Plenty of parking too. Great camp site with very clean facilities. Will definitely be back again thanks

Very hard working & friendly staff, the grounds are maintained to a high standard & all the numerous facilities are well placed for your convenience & scrupulously clean, if your young or starting to feel your age there’s plenty to occupy your time, with fantastic views & great walks, but best of all are the people you meet! it seems campers & caravaners are the most friendly on earth so thanks to all we met for making our stay so special.

We will be back :)

What a beautiful, peaceful site. The pods are amazing, really comfortable and loads of space for two of us. Toilets and showers were fantastic, really clean and everything we needed, water was hot and pressure was good! Very easy to find the site straight off the A66. Views are brilliant.
