The piggies, the food, the shop, the bar, the pub quiz, the big outdoor sofas, the clean toilets, the friendly staff, the location close to M40

23/08/2022 not having to cook you can stay and eat from the van break, lunch and dinner and great quizz night (although) I did not take part - Owen was super helpful when we had a tent pump disaster!

The on site cafe and shop are fantastic serving excellent food and drink through the day. The Warden was very welcoming & helpful. Nice walks close by along the canal.

The Bar and chill out areas, canal side setting, very chilled out place

Pitches were awful if off grid, easy to bottom out the caravan and really need improvement. Portaloos only and all padlocked except 3.

Relaxed cheerful staff and approach to guests. The camping field was large and pitches mostly even but blocks required in some areas. The pigs were great fun and kept guests amused. On our visit there was a new litter of pigs just two weeks old. The pens were immaculate and pigs well cared for.
Catering truck serving great breakfast and food through the day. Bar open in the evenings.
Enjoyable stroll along canal.
Farm shop had basic supplies of produce and alcohol.

Porta loos but they were kept clean so no problem.
No children after 6pm so not suitable for families

Pitches on a slope, lack of clarity on car charges (you might as well park your car on the road outside and carry your gear from there and save yourself a fiver)

Absolutely fantastic facilities, great food, unique setting. Staff were also all fantastic and made us feel very welcome.

Nothing at all, couldnt recommend highly enough.
