Liked: Great service, owner's very friendly and helpful. Fields big enough and well spaced out. Toilets, showers and kitchen/cleaning room avaliable (basic yet more than enough).

Liked: The pitches were clearly marked and well kept. Checked in online and was given my pitch number meaning I could just come down the driveway and set up straight away. Driving directions were given via text which made it very easy to find.
Lovely scenery and views, quiet site with a very nice warm shower block.
There was a kettle in the washing up kitchen if you wanted to make an easy brew.
Owners were really pleasant, came to say hello as I was setting up and let me know they were there if I needed anything.Disliked: –

Really peaceful site in a gorgeous location.

Disliked: Only downside is the hardstanding. Broke nearly all our rock pegs as its like just pure concrete

You do need a good quality rock peg for our hard standing pitches. We always keep a stock onsite that a free to use.
Great site, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return here.

Liked: The site was clean, neat, tidy and the shower/toilet block was clean and well looked after. The site was off a lovely, winding road and within a half hour walk to a decent pub (good food). Rob was there on site regularly and always asked if everything was ok (which it was). It’ll be even better when their plans to add more facilities and a simple cafe come to fruition.
Disliked: Erm… I’m struggling to find something that needed improvement, really. This is nothing to do with the site itself, but when approaching the site - with a sizeable caravan or motorhome, best route is via A5 from Chirk, avoiding a steep decline.

Yes the best approach is from either side of the B5105. This avoids all side roads. We are lucky that the main road leads right up to us and provides great access.

Liked: Lovely small site with lovely clean showers & toilets,option to hire fire pits which was a nice touch & picnic benches & tables dotted around the pitches.The pitches were nice & spacious & owner was extremely friendly & very informative about the area.Fantastic location where you could just walk 5-10 mins down the road to a big forest which our dog loved,would definitely recommend & stay again.

Disliked: Toilet and showers a bit too far from the cabin; no running hot water in the cabin which makes washing up quite challenging especially that the shared kitchen area is tiny and again - far from the cabin

We’re sorry to hear that you found the distance to the toilet and shower facilities a little inconvenient. The facilities are approximately a 45-second walk from the cabins, and while many guests find the short stroll part of the charm of being close to nature, we do understand it may not suit everyone’s preferences. We’ll continue to explore ways to improve the experience and ensure guests are fully informed at booking.
Regarding the hot water in the cabin — thank you for raising this. We include instructions in the cabin handbook to help guests quickly and easily source hot water, and we’re currently reviewing how we can make this even clearer on arrival. That said, we appreciate this may not have been ideal for your needs, especially in combination with the shared kitchen space. Your feedback is invaluable as we look at ways to enhance our facilities without compromising the tranquillity and eco-friendly ethos of our site.
