    Excellent site with plenty of facilities - clean modern toilet / shower block , communal room with TV, covered washing and cooking areas, flat pitches . Great place to base from to explore the Lakes

    Lovely campsite, nice locality to various towns to visit. Amenities very nice and well kept. Would visit again.
    Disliked: 

    We did book a tent pitch described as by a stream but ended up being on a hill with no stream, which ended up being extremely windy which was unfortunate. Also, we had a tent of a family near us that were extremely loud, shouting and swearing until around 2am. This again was unfortunate but there is a quiet time in place but not sure who checks on this etc.? Luckily it was just the one evening but was a shame (but this is not applicable to our stay of the campsite which was great!)

    The owner is very welcoming and the views from the campsite were incredible. It's a great location for exploring the Lakes. The services provided there are great: fab showers, great washing-up area, kettles, fridge, freezer and communal area.

    Lovely quiet site... despite its relatively large size. Very well designed....Staff were very helpful, met our request for a quiet campervan pitch due to having a reactive rescue dog.
