Great space, clean toilets showers, we had a lovely walk around the pond, everyone was respectful of the area and rules, very friendly and helpful, we would definitely come back.

Not so much disliked but I feel it could have done with another toilet block at the far end.

Really nice well maintained park.
Good toilet and shower facilities which were clean and modern. Even had a washing machine and dryer.
Easy access to Castle Howard.
Good respectful campers too. No loud horrid music.

Maybe don't park near the road. Some idiots thought it was funny to honk their horn as they drove past early on Sunday morning.

The lake and the cost of pitch.

Free for all with other guests,
Rammed field with cars and tents all over.
Tents are not as advertised, it’s not on the lake edge.

The class of people who fill this field is horrible, they are the inconsiderate type and chavvy.
There was annoying kids everywhere and constant noise. Making trouble in the bathrooms and on the lake.
Rude people everywhere. Football happening until 11pm, stupid parents letting small kids hide near our car and tent ropes after ignoring requests that they do not.

The roads that surround the field are noisey and busy.
Had a group of trouble making kids staying causing havoc on the site from some sort of youth club.

Only worth staying for one night when no children or lower class scum are staying.
Wish I got a refund!

We really enjoyed our stay.
Reception staff we’re very helpful.
The pitches were spacious and in a beautiful location.
Toilet and washing facilities were clean and well maintained.

Our second time staying! Overall a great site, plenty of toilets and showers and the water tap wasn’t too far from our pitch.

Lovely site; good location and good to choose where to pitch. Had everything we needed and everything by was easy to access. Site staff were very helpful; particularly when one of our parties cars wouldn’t start! Only slight niggle was shower water temperatures…cold; very cold!!

What a stunning location so close to one of Yorkshire's iconic stately homes.
We were very impressed with the facilities and the greating from reception. Looking forward to our next trip.
