Liked: upon arrival we were greeted by the warden on his little tractor.he parked our twin axle on our grass pitch , due to all the rain we have had recently. the site was clean and tidy and the toilet block and shower was clean and always warm inside. the waste water and toilet waste facilities were good too.
As previous reviews have mentioned the first speed ramp is a little too high, although it didn't catch my jockey wheel or underside of our van.

Disliked: That we were put at the very end of the site on our own furthest away from the toilet block as the closer one was closed for the winter.

Liked: Excellent site overall very clean and well kept lovely park for my daughter to play. great toilets/shower facilities and easy waste disposal areas. We enjoyed a walk to the local soft play jangos and then a pub lunch and drinks in the foxglove.
Disliked: My only minor gripe as mentioned in previous reviews is the speed bumps as my car sits really low it was almost impossible to get over them without scraping the underside of my vehicle.

Disliked: Speed bumps on the access too big. The car bottomed out and so did the caravan even at a snails pace. Would stay again if access sorted.

Thank you for your insights, however, on your arrival you only waited a maximum of 15 mins as that is how long the office was unmanned whilst we were dealing with something else on site, whenever the office is closed, there is a mobile number displayed on the door for customers to contact, i had no phone calls from you, despite your insistence that you had rung several times.
The area you were on when shouted at to come off, was clearly roped off due to being waterlogged and you were issued an apology which you were happy to accept at the time.
As stated in the site rules, Fires are Not allowed, you were given 2 hours between me first speaking to you regarding this, to me actually insisting you put the fire out, if 2 hours is not long enough for you to prepare something to eat on a fire pit, then for your future trips i would recommend looking up local takeaways.
May i also be so bold as to suggest changing your brand of rolling tobacco as the pungent smell from your chosen brand may cause you problems should you be pulled over at any time.
I would also like to say thank you for giving your 6 year old child the freedom to wonder aimlessly around the site and fishing lake unsupervised, its so nice to see parents giving children room to grow.
