Liked: View of the lake was picturesque. Lovely reservoir close by for nice walks.
Disliked: This site is located on a very busy road which resulted in lots of traffic noise. We attempted to walk to the village of Melbourne but there is no pavement by the road only an uneven grass verge and the traffic was very fast moving so we turned back. The toilets and showers are located in wooden sheds which were cold. No Wi-Fi available on site.

I am sorry you were annoyed by the traffic noise and the fact we have no WI-fi on site both these issues are stated on pitch up and my web site .
we tried to ask the council to install a path to the village 3/4 miles away four years ago but they refused due to the cost .

Liked: Loved it, lovely people, not too far away from Melbourne easy walk and plus you can get a bus the no: 9 from springwood fisheries to the village, just make sure you know the times. Melbourne inn very highly recommended for food, had a first class meal on the Thursday and a look at the market facing, bought some homemade pie's and cake's from the market, first class, it's only a small market but very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked a meal in the Melbourne Inn for mother's day.
