The place is absolutely beautiful!! Very calm and relaxing. Just what we needed for the night.

the dog could walk around without a lead

pitch was rubbish, people allowed to park on our pitch! arrogant and bombastic fisheries manager! more like a gypsy camp!

Showers and toilets were very clean. Very close to local shops.
Our pod also had a toilet and sink in, this was a bonus, it had only just been fitted and we was not expecting to have them in the pod.
Lovely couple that own the site.
Was great that we was able to take the dog and my partner loved having his own fishing peg right on the door step, and he caught plenty of fish.
We will be going back this summer.

The lake, the quietness, the space

Beautiful view onto one of the two ponds. It was a quiet secluded site in a nice setting.

The noise of the planes though we knew this would be the case being so close to Birmingham. There was a road directly behind our pitch and it was busy into the late evening. Although this was the case I wouldn't have moved pitch as we had beautiful view of the pond and sunset.

Peaceful and good pitch and access to requirements for toilet and shower. Very helpful to us when arrived

Used as a stopping point to visit friends and travel onwards. Derbyshire is a beautiful county. The pitch was adequate, water and electricity were fine.

Absolutely loved it was beautiful,the make was amazing the colour was so nice its a very well looked after fishery and for me the best bit was the freindly dog rusty 😀 ❤ I will definitely be back again this year the pods are very clean and modern 👌

The rural location is excellent
Had a service pitch which made it all the more comfortable
The staff are very helpful and friendly
Fishing lakes are clean and well maintained with regular matches on.

Due to the cold weather the shower was cold but we knew they were basic when we booked.
