Liked: Great location, very peaceful, surrounded by nature. The night skies were amazing. Very helpful staff. The actual accommodation was cosy and welcoming.
Disliked: Beds uncomfortable, door very loud to close, it needing slamming and a fence would be good as there was a steep drop for dogs and small children.

Liked: What a lovely campsite, facilities were brilliant and great location! Staff were extremely friendly.
Disliked: Only downside was the children couldn’t ride scooters or ball/tennis games but the lady was very lovely about this and told us about a playground ten mins walk away which was fantastic and empty so children had all to them selves!

Liked: Site was full, however, greeted at reception and nothing was too much effort for them. Toilets and showers were always spotless, despite the site being so full. Was also quiet at night. Can't wait to go back
Disliked: A slight walk required to pitch the tent. But a trolley was provided for our gear

Thank you for your comments we appreciate your feedback. I am sorry you felt the pitches were small but they are set out to meet the requirements of our site license perhaps it was because you were near the hedge. It is very difficult for us to know everyone's requirements when an awning is involved as there are a very large number of them and they all differ in size and dimensions, which then takes up a lot of your pitch As this is an old railway site is set out as the railway was many years ago which obviously does not offer a great view from low level ground.

Liked: Stayed in the shepherds hut for two nights. Immaculately clean and a well stocked kitchen area with everything you could require. Very nice quiet site with good facilities and within easy walking distance of Masham.

Liked: Campsite was spotless and well organised. Staff provided us with tape to mend a broken tent pole which made a huge difference to our stay. Some really nice pubs just a short walk away.

Thank you for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sadly we don't have room to have a play area for children. We ask that children don't ride scooters and play around on the road due to safety concerns and moving vehicles for the best interests of everyone. The park you obviously used is only a short distances away and there is loads of open space for children to run around and burn some energy in a safe environment.
