Great little site with a brilliant view, in a great location near a small town and coniston lake. The facilities are all there for what you need, and are kept nice and clean and the staff are really friendly. I also like that there is fire pits provided so you do not have to take your own, though I did have my bbq with me. Will definitely be staying here again!

Not really a dislike but the ground was pretty rocky so would definitely recommend a hammer or mallet for knocking in pins

The location and set up. The hosts were very helpful and the walk suggestions from the site were lovely . Our pitch had the most beautiful view.

Lovely site, super peaceful with beautiful views. Fantastic to see all the animals happy and roaming. The three little terriers are really friendly and came over to say hello and play with my dog every evening. Hot showers and very clean.

The camping pod and facilities were all clean and had all the essentials. The views were absolutely stunning

The three dogs who weren’t very well taken care of were okay on their own but when there was three of them they were ganging up on other dogs that were staying and were covered in ticks.
The shower rooms were small, not very private and the tap turning off every ten seconds was annoying. The toilets could do with a bit of a refresh. Tried to charge our phones but the plug sockets barely charged.

basic yet lovely site, very friendly and accommodating owners. Working farm and a lot of free roaming animals so be aware of you take dogs that are reactive to this, the website made this abundantly clear.

The campsite is set in beautiful countryside and is a working farm, the owners dogs were regular visitors to our tent as were ducks and even a couple of lambs which was lovely. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay.. just what we needed.
