The security of the site with it been a gated site.
Nice sized cabin, basic, ideal for short breaks.
The site staff/owner very pleasant and helpful.
Location to days out such as Longleat safari, as well as supermarket.
In summary superb basic site.

Very neat well presented site. My son and I stayed here during Easter last year for a "lad and dad" camping trip (it was just a field then), but allowed fires🔥

It now has hard standing pitches with WiFi, a grass area to the right, EHU, water connection and picnic table on each pitch. There were communal fridge, freezer, electric kettle, and microwave in the washing up area, which was nice. There was also a games room and children's play park. There were still fire pits available to use too.

The site is also only 4mins away from a supermarket, and shops, which is great.

All in all a great stay - we will be back soon!

Could do with a few more darts in the games room and being a tad cheaper, or offering a discount for longer stays.

The pitch was great and very easy to find with helpful parking alongside. The amenities are fantastic, the games room is great and the free barbecue is amazing. The location is great and everything you need is very close by.

Pitches aren’t specific so ended up with a camper facing in to ours which wasn’t great. We like our own space.

The field adjacent to the site is next to a very busy noisy road. We spent four nights here and for two solid days (from 8.00am-8.00pm), the field adjacent on the other side of this small site, a huge digger, used in a full scale construction site, was in use, creating the most horrendous noise. This was not the quiet chilled relaxed stay we envisaged.

Security of site, play area and gaming room. Close to longleat.

Road slightly noisey

We were regulars before the new owners took over. Wow what a difference!! Really makes a difference having the electric hook up, very handy. Appreciated the extra bathrooms, showers and wash stations. All kept very clean and tidy. Kids enjoyed the games room especially the arcade game. Free wifi, i didnt use it but the kids did and it worked to the end of the orchard. We liked that we could buy drinks from the club house and warm up whilst playing table tennis as it was a bit cold this time of year late at night. New owners are very kind and very helpful. Perfect base for longleat.

Slightly missed the option to use the grass to play games as now all allocated pitches with gravel road in the middle. Pitches are a really good size but we were just not used to being so close to other campers. It would not put us off rebooking though. It's like all things, when it's so different to what you're used too it takes time to adjust but we really like it there and will be back!
