Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Booked up couple of nights whilst passing the area touring by motorcycle.
Booked the wrong dates accidentally but Sue and Ray, the owners slotted me in without a fuss.
Looks like they’ve both put in massive efforts to make this a great site. Pitched up in the corner in some shade by the lake.
Thursday evening being bike night was an unexpected treat. 20 odd bikers turned up for a meet. Nice little bar with cheap beer and great chats either way the bikers.
Definitely stop off again when passing.
Disliked Nothing to dislike for me on this site.

Primitive grass campsite (large)
Liked Nice small tidy little site with the odd fishing lake. Lots of familys present and looks safe for the kids, that is if they can swim. The site has a few permanent residents that keep themselves to themselves.
Good little stop over with friendly staff.
My only negative comment is that the traffic noise at night was disturbing but other than that, I'd stop over again.
Disliked Traffic noise at night, particularly where I was sited at the end of the sit.

Liked Stopped for one night on my way up north from Brighton.
Lovely secluded place away from the main road. The upper field adjacent to a crop field and surrounded by woods and several barns.
Not somewhere I would take the kids but great for a stop over. Enjoyed the stay.

Orchard primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (adults only)
Liked Lovely orchard campsite. Stayed in campervan for a couple of nights. Clean and peaceful rural location.
On-site bar and restaurant a bonus. Loved the place and will pass by again.
Disliked The lack of any facility for emptying grey and black tanks would prevent us staying more than a few days. Other than than, nothing to dislike at all.
