Upstreet, Kent, England
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (woodland, wild)
Liked Loved the personal introduction.
Room to roam and find your own pitch.
Semi wild but facilities available.
Little hidden extras like a kettle, wood, bits and bobs which I thought was a good touch.
Disliked It is what is is and I liked it. Lesser will take time to pick out negatives but I really loved the character of the place.
Quad bike to my location (jokes) 😆
I wish I had visited the bar with my dog but there was a nervous dog pretty much there all the time and it was residential so I was deterred.

Shepherdswell, Kent, England
The Menage powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely campsite, we were on hard standing in the first arrival area and was met with a lovely gentleman who gave us the "need to knows" and we soon settled in.
Disliked First world problems really, not enough to mention as they were personal issues.
But if I was held on a cliff edge for an answer then I would say the lack of a small convenience shop (for basics/local food perhaps?) yes I know there is a co op local but when in a camper or set up it's a faff.
As I said First world problems. That's it! It was great and will definitely return?
We will go on the top field next time so we have more flex on what we can do/ not whisper in the evenings ha!
