Bluebell FHU gravel and cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked It was very Quiet & peaceful, the showers were nice and clean, a lovely shop.
Disliked We stayed on a hard gravel stand with a 7.4 motorhome. We thought the pitches were very close to others, normally you would be side by side but we were situated in a small circle.
You have to travel at least 30 minutes to get anywhere.

FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice pitch
Good scenery
Nice shop
Lovely views
Disliked Leaving your pitch at 10.30am, it’s a bit early. I think it should be 12pm check in and 11am checkout.
I think it’s quite expensive to stay there, we have stayed in quite a few other campsites that are a 5 star but cheaper.

From the manager: Thank you for your review Mark. There is no bus stop sign as we are a requested stop. With regards to the free WIFI we wished that you had said about it to us as would could of looked into it. We had super fast broadband installed to the campsite so it should be good. We are sorry that this has made you not want to visit again as this could have been sorted. Best wishes from Team Barley Meadow.
Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, England
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Definitely worth £8 in the summer months, very quiet and peaceful. It’s quite bumpy grounds, so you will probably get stuck in the autumn/winter months, (we were in a motorhome though)
Perfect for motorhomes, caravans and tents.

Chippenham, Wiltshire, England
FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The site was in a very good location, with a bus stop outside, or you can walk 3 miles to the nearest train station, which we took to Bath & Bristol.
The site is very clean/tidy and very quiet. The owners re very helpful and happy to answer any questions.
We would definitely use again.
Disliked The showers lasted between 3-10 seconds, so you have to keep pressing the button, it’s too much hassle to wash your hair! However the music playing in the shower room was nice.
The WiFi is hit and miss at times but it’s free 🙂

Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The owners were very helpful.
The site was very clean and tidy
The site was good for kids, as it was secure
The town centre was a 15 minute walk
A co-op near by
The loch rivercruise was only a 10 minute drive away
Disliked I’m not quite sure why the deluxe pitch is Deluxe! I think probably because you were not back to back with other motorhome but against a hedge instead, I didn’t think it was worth the extra £5 a night!
No WiFi available
