Old Orchard FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful scenery.
Lovely and quiet.
Unfortunately we stayed in the most horrific weather so we didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked. Lovely host
Disliked I think if it was busier, one toilet and one shower would have been a pain and a long wait.
Two occasions there was no toilet roll so perhaps a sealed box in the bathroom that we could replace ourselves and keep it topped up?
No wifi, which would be a bonus.

Liked The slides and the beach! The kids loved it.
Size of pitch was good.
The aqua park was good value and a lot of fun!
Toilets were kept clean and stocked.
Showers powerful.
Close drive to Bruges and Ghent! Both worth a visit.
Disliked Quite a strong sewer smell at times. Which really wasn’t pleasant.
I didn’t like that you had to pay for showers.
The grass pitch had a lot of grass missing and was filled with almost a dry mud.
I would say it’s a good base, rather than a place you want to spend a lot of time here.

Liked Quiet in the evening
Large space for children to play
Disliked Not enough facilities.
2 toilets for the tent pitch, which just isn’t enough.
the soap wasn’t refilled from thurs - sun.
One toilet seat broke and wasn’t replaced.
Said there was wifi, it didn’t reach the tent pitches, so no phone signal!
Small pitches, not a lot of space.
Emailed about a refund for dog charge as he didn’t come with us - no reply, no response.
Used the phone number several times to call about the dog (weeks before arriving) no one ever answered, kept going through to a sister site who said they couldn’t help.
We wouldn’t stay again

Liked Really big pitches.
Busy but quiet site. Everyone respected the rules etc.
really great activities on site, well ran and the staff were really friendly.
The aqua park was so fun, and the staff really knew what they were doing.
Staff often seen in the toilets cleaning -
Although sometimes she would finish cleaning… yet everywhere wasn’t clean?
Almost half a job?
On a whole the toilets and showers were good though. Quite long timer showers too. Also we liked that they were large toilet and showers in a room together meaning so much space to get a family changed and dry etc.
We’l be back for sure!!

We were also able to leave our caravan (with permission) in a parking space so we go for a walk at a country park before driving home.
Clear instructions via text for check in.
People seemed to keep to the rules and it was quiet at night.
Good base for Blackpool.
Free WiFi which is a huge bonus
Disliked Although the text with info was great, I missed the check in and meeting a host.
No park for the children so we spent majority of our time not on site.

Liked Everything to be honest.
We would highly recommend this site and we will be back again.
Very peaceful. Really beautifully kept pitches, the facilities were good and kept clean!
Also helped that the sun was shining all weekend so it was blissful.
Saw the owner several times and she was really friendly.
We were able to use a fire pit in the evening too which was lovely as the weather was so dry.

Andy was very accommodating!
Jason was always happy to help and genuinely looked like he loved his job!
Pool was great,
Crazy golf was great.
We stayed on the touring pitches and the weather was beautiful.
Really quiet in an evening, you couldn’t hear the entertainment around the park - so it was peaceful. We’ll be back!
