Liked Danni and Phil are amazing hosts, so warm, welcoming and open. The views and lake are just stunning. The sympathy of nature around the lake draws in so many species, a bird watchers haven! The family's vision for the site is really exciting, and though is only a year in, the site is beautiful. It is a work in progress, but we are excited to return in the future to see what happens next

Liked Loved the surrounding and pitch size. Well laid out.

Disliked Bathroom and toilet facilities quite tired and outdated. WiFi signal is good but always seemed to completely cut off around 8:30 every evening. Would be really nice if the brambles around the EHU points were cut back as well as brambles encroaching onto pitch (at eye level)

Liked The views are amazing, the site is immaculately clean, facilities are a great standard. Reception staff are warm, welcoming and engaging. Less than a 5 minute walk to Devils Bridge and falls.

Disliked The drive up! The shop closing at 3pm

Liked Just returned from a three day stay at Pinecones, got to say what a beautiful site. Well maintained, clean, friendly staff and my goodness what beautiful surroundings. Nature walks nearby are lovely, lots of animals, hare, muntjack deer, greylag geese. At 5am (yes, early riser) there were even some fallow deer walking through the camp. Particularly like the quiet times.

Disliked The detractors from my stay is by no means a fault of Pinecones, I'm a very light sleeper and there is a busy road right next to site.

Liked Really picturesque site, great bar and entertainment. Well maintained grounds, great first impression coming in past lakes. Great transport links to seafront and attractions. Staff warm and welcoming. Facilities clean though a little tired.

Disliked Placement of electric points on touring pitches. 15m cable could not reach, had to move caravan onto grass rather than hardstanding to reach. Dog walk area extremely small.

Liked Such a clean site, facilities were spotless, clean pitch, easy access to water refills. Staff so helpful and welcoming to some new caravaners (previously tents). Had a minor malfunction on our van (number plate) the team at the site could not have been more helpful! Got us on our way again. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back

Disliked Not a problem with the campsite, pitchup did not list security deposit on access card which meant having to find a cash machine after setting up.
