Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Absolutely stunning scenery! The facilities were decent and the rope swing was a wonderfully retro touch. Fire pits were allowed. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival.
Disliked Minor criticism that the pitch was quite sloped but it has prompted us to buy some levelling ramps. Very little signal and the free WiFi did not connect for the entirety of our stay (but it was quite nice being off the grid!)

Liked We loved this place, really friendly hosts who were extremely accommodating and welcoming. An excellent shop. The firepit option was very surprising as other sites had banned them. A stunning secluded beach is within a 2 mile walk. The showers and toilets were clean, worth noting you need coins to pay for the showers though.
Disliked My kids (and wife) were not a fan of the walk from the beach but that is not the sites problem ha.
One genuine issue was that some very loud campers turned up well after 23:00 and were pitching up well after midnight, there was seemingly no attempt to regulate their noise. Luckily it did not affect my families sleep, it was more irksome. I reported it to the staff in the morning and they were very apologetic (despite it not being their fault) and assured me that they will speak to the people in question.

Liked Really lovely, child-friendly site. Great facilities, including a swimming pool, table tennis, pool tables, an arcade, a play area a football pitch.
Disliked Some children were feral and parents seemed quite content to leave them to it. WiFi did not work at all.

Liked A really well-maintained site, friendly hosts and beautiful, riverside surroundings. A great play-area was in walking distance (a little bit less than a mile).
Disliked Lots of flies due to it close to the river (I guess), and apparently I have tasty blood!

Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (pet friendly)
Liked Really friendly staff, contributing to a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Spacious pitches with free-roaming chickens that the kids absolutely loved. A really good play area is within a short walk. Will definitely be returning.
Disliked This is not a criticism as the site cannot help nature but the ground was incredibly hard due to the recent weather. Therefore, it was very difficult to get pegs in the ground.

Liked Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, decent space to pitch in. Local shops within walking distance. A very short drive to Llandudno. A nice touch with the little sheds with honesty boxes at the entrance, one with some essentials and the other with cakes etc. Toilets were fine, as was the washing up area.
A great stay, will definitely come back.
Disliked Come campers were quite noisy until well after midnight. WiFi connection was pretty patchy.
