Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked One of the most beautiful campsites I’ve stayed at, and also one of the most remote. If you’re comfortable with narrow roads, this one is a must. A gorgeous view of the coastline and mountains await. It’s within walking distance of the beautiful Angelsey coast over some lovely public footpaths. Lovely hot shower. All the facilities you could need: drinking water, pot washing, flushing loos and chemical disposal. Highly recommended, just be aware it’s a remote location so can be very windy and susceptible to the elements.
Disliked Nothing- it’s huge so there’s plenty of places to find a private little spot. So peaceful, just on the windy side.

Primitive grass campsite (large)
Liked A fabulous campsite for the money, and it goes to a great cause. Drinking water, pot washing, toilets and a shower (£1 extra). As a hiker, I found the location great, a public footpath straight from the site takes you to some lovely off-the-beaten-track scenery. A lovely view of the sunset where I was, too. Highly recommended if you like great value for money. Transport connections to Rhyl also.
Disliked Nothing. It was packed on one of my nights there, so there wasn’t a great deal of room between pitches, but that’s to be expected. Good to know the money goes to a good cause.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Fantastic scenery, spacious campsite, quiet and peaceful. Basic but well-kept facilities.
Disliked Nothing really, some of the fields are on a hill so do be aware of this.

Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked A quiet, peaceful campsite with great facilities which were spotlessly clean. Dale and Julie take great care and pride in their site and you can really tell.
Disliked Nothing comes to mind.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked A gorgeous peaceful, tranquil campsite located next to the river and overlooking a lovely big pond. Extremely quiet, with nothing but the sound of birdsong to wake you in the morning. The perfect place t relax and connect with nature, plus a very pleasant river walk in to Ely, or a short bus ride in to Cambridge.
Disliked Nothing, just remember it has limited facilities - no showers and just a portaloo, which was fine for me in my self contained motorhome
