Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Everything! As a single mum with severe anxiety I really pushed myself to adventure out. So glad I found this beautiful campsite! Great flat ground to pitch with plenty of space. All pitches are on the edge of the field with a communal area in the middle for the children to play football, tennis, swing ball, tug of War which are all provided.
Really clean toilet facilities. The free use of the communal fridge and freezer was a gem this weekend, could stock up with ice lollies and cold drinks in the heat! USB sockets available to charge devices.
Then you have the animal tours each morning. My girls absolutely loved getting in with the goats and sheep. Started the day with lots of giggles. Eggs available for just a few £'s - super tasty addition to breakfast.
Although too dry this weekend for it to be safe, the site hires out firepits and sells wood. Great opportunity when we're not in a heatwave.
Location is perfect. Easy to find, well signed entrance. Just a small drive into Hereford itself, but with lots of convenience shops closer if needed. Plenty of phone signal coverage.
Paul is such a lovely host! Made me feel so welcome. Lots of great local advice for places to eat and visit (the wye Inn did a great carvery!) Felt so reassuring and I really felt safe.
Highly recommend to everyone! Such a great place for camping adventures.
Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike!

From the manager: Thank you so much for your comprehensive review Emily. Phone signal coverage is important to many campers, so well done for adding that too! You did a great job describing the site and the facilities available! I'm glad you felt safe and enjoyed your stay with us. Please come back and stay with us next season. Take care Paul
