Liked We absolutely loved our stay at Avon Tyrrell Campsite! ⭐️ The facilities were top-notch, with lovely clean showers, shower curtains and plenty of hot water — a small detail that makes such a difference when camping! The garden chess was also a fantastic touch and something we really enjoyed. We were on Pitch 1, which was a brilliant pitch and a great spot for our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout, going above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. On our first day, they kindly lent us an electric extension cable, which was a huge help. They were also fantastic when we had trouble getting our caravan out of the Lake Fields. The ground was extremely dry and dusty, and our car kept stalling every time we tried to get up the track. The team came out with a tractor and helped tow us up — genuinely going above and beyond to help us out. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Avon Tyrrell. Great facilities, a lovely site and, most importantly, a really friendly and helpful team. We’ll definitely be back! 🏕️😊

Disliked Boat house showers were cold for 4 days of our stay.

Liked I loved the opening of the campsite pitch! The boat house was kept fairly tidy.

Disliked An extra toilet building just for campsite users would be handy as when people using the lake it gets very hectic and very dirty.
