Liked The site is very new and only has a shed shower and toilet, very clean though, but if you are travelling with a motor home you will have everything you need anyway. The pitches are very large, level and easily accessable with beautiful views. The road out front is busy but the large trees and hedgerow block out most of the noise. At night it is very dark, no light pollution and peaceful and in the mornings we were woken up with a dawn chorus. The site is a perfect base to explore the area, there is a bus stop to the right of the site and a beautiful country lane to the left and a 15 minute walk took us to a beautiful period railway station where we caught a steam train to Minehead ( it runs between Minehead and Taunton) we had a really good day out and didn't need to take the motor home off site. The next day on the way home we visited Wimbleball resevoir only an hours drive away. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful and are looking forward to developing the site and facilities but the lack of facilities didn't spoil our stay at all as it's all about the area that it's in. We had a very quiet, relaxing and stress free stay and would definately come back.

Liked Beautiful setting and very peaceful. There was a swimming pool down the lane which was very warm and the village was only about 10 mins walk away with a coop so it was good not to have to pack up the campervan to get supplies.

Disliked Although the site was peaceful it was miles away from anything, but it is personal preference so it'snot really a bad thing if that's what you are looking for!!!

Liked Very welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Situated close to a variety of non comercial things to do and on a hop on hop off open top bus service.

Disliked Had to use transport to get anywhere.

Liked The beautiful setting, the shower/toilet block were hotel quality and spotlessly clean as was the laundry room, the bus stop just outside the camp which took us into Ilfracombe, the welcoming and friendly staff, the relaxed atmosphere and the pride that is taken in the site. We loved it so much we've rebooked!!!

Disliked There isn't anything that i can think of!!!!

Liked Lovely looking site, level pitches, easy access, all the facillities that we would need although tired looking.

Disliked We stayed there for 2 nights and the owners didn't come to great us once, we are new to this but even in the winter months i would expect a friendly welcome??
