Liked Clean bathrooms. Hot water. Good water pressure. Plenty of space. Stunning views.

Disliked A shop on site with essentials would be really useful. Apparently there was a crepe van but we didn’t ever see it open. Pizza and bar open on Friday and Saturday apparently but we were there Monday-Friday, so not sure if it opened. A little on the pricey side. £41 per night plus £4 for dog.

Liked Beautiful setting. Very relaxed. Friendly host who visits at least once per day. Very clean site with everything you could need. Great (hot) showers. Brilliant washing up area. Compost toilets. Plenty of bins available for recycling that are emptied as needed. My son also stayed in the yurt for one night and it was very impressive. White cotton sheets and thick mattresses on sprung beds with all equipment provided. We were camping in a tent and there was lots of space for our large tent. You need to go to the top of the hill (which is a gorgeous place to sit and watch the sunset or sunrise) or out in the car to get reception but being off grid was exactly what myself and my teenagers needed. We were local so it was a 30min drive home but despite only being away 3 days and 3 nights it felt like a weeks break away. Definitely visit if you need to unplug and unwind. Cirencester open air pool is worth a visit. They have general (walk in) swim times and is in a gorgeous setting and very good value. Cirencester itself is a lovely market town with lots of quirky shops mixed in with high street shops and plenty of places to eat.
