Liked Quiet location with spectacular scenery. Good local amenities nearby and the showers/toilets are truly excellent; I have literally stayed in 4* hotels that don’t have ablutions of this cleanliness and quality. The stall selling hot drinks and light breakfast each morning were really appreciated.

Liked A simple campsite in a great, quiet location. ‘Check in’ was straightforward and there was great information on how best to get to the village. The facilities were clean and functional and the option to charge devices was very welcome.

Liked The location is excellent in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Bude, which is quite accessible via a beautiful walk along the canal towpath.

Liked Indoor ‘rest room’ with kettle, microwave, sofas and a huge amount of local tourist information. Laundry facilities were good and reasonably priced.

Disliked No shop on site was a slight problem as there are few/no other options in the area.

From the manager: Thank you for your review Ray, much appreciated. We used to have a shop but due to lack of use we stopped it. For other campers reference, there are shops in Hartland village which is 2 miles and one of them is more than happy to deliver to the site.

Liked The site was easy to reach in car and the ‘honesty shop’ was excellent, allowing access to a wide variety of items.

Disliked Quite noisy early in the morning due to lorries and tractors on the main road that runs along the length of the campsite.
