Liked I dont really want to leave a good review as this place was sensational and I'm guessing will be harder and harder to book as word gets out. It's in its second year and it's so very special xxx
Disliked Having to leave 😕

Liked We have been on the road for 3 weeks and this was a pit stop for on the way home. The place itself is very clean and tidy with nice facilities but the real star is the onsite clubhouse and restaurant. The food is Amazing in service, presentation and value. I have been bowled over by dinner last night and a fabulous brekky this morning, honestly if your passing try it.

Liked Million dollar view, it really was stunning. Very clean and quiet. Friendly service. It was a bit isolated for us as we like to walk to the shops and pubs/restaurants (which you could do about 2 miles away) however I’m very allergic to horses and there is a stable adjacent to some of the site so we had to leave early so we did limited exploring so could be wrong.
Disliked Nothing if your not allergic to horses would definitely recommend you stay for at least a night to drink in the view.

Liked Each shower had a toilet and sink as a separate spacious room so felt really nice to have that privacy. Very clean, lovely forest walk adjacent to site, great service. Great pub which did fantastic tasty food a 3 minute walk away and the value was exceptional. Coop also just around the corner. Fryish monument a 5 min drive away and really worth the effort just for the view when you get to the top.
Disliked I’m not a morning person so a leave time of 10 am is a bit early for me.

Liked A very well kept site, very swish loo and toilet blocks with wash up area always immaculate. It’s great for a visit to Holy Island, we watched the semi final of the euros in the club house and drinks were reasonable and service was great. Would definitely come again.
Disliked I think the price reflects what’s on offer especially if you have kids with you, I do think that the WiFi should be included though

Liked It’s a lovely clean, quiet spot with a good walk into Gardenstown and lovely places nearby to visit. I won’t tell you what the owner did for us (in case everyone wants the same) but suffice to say they went above and beyond and people like this make the world a better place.

Liked Lovely clean site, friendly helpful staff, very quiet. Just a short walk to local shops, beach front and pubs. Would recommend The Star try the grub was like home cooking, avoid the local chippy as not great. Would happily stay here again nice jump off point. You do have to pay for electricity on top which was novel and cost us the princely sum £1.05 for 2 nights. (This was our first nights in our new to us camper)
Disliked Was looking forward to dinner in the onsite Bistro but wasn’t open until Thurs - Sat, very minor gripe only because it looked lovely.
